I’m Lisa
I’m a certified functional medicine coach and practical homeopathic practitioner, and founder of Remedy Box Wellness.
If there’s anything my wellness journey has taught me, it’s that who we are – our life circumstances, personal and family history, and environment – matters. So, here’s a bit about who I am:

So, how did Remedy Box Wellness get started?
I spent nearly 30 years living in Alaska, an incredible place that’s unlike anywhere else in the world. One of my favorite discoveries while living there was mushroom hunting—the smell of the soil, the feel of the dirt on my hands, the one-ness with the plants and earth as I laid on my belly to find and photograph these beautiful fungi. Even now the smell can take me back; it’s truly my happy place.
In 2008, I moved from Alaska to Idaho. Along with the normal stress that accompanies a big move, I was struggling with menopause, Epstein Barr, sleep dysfunction, gut dysfunction, and severe chronic fatigue. My time in Alaska had taught me to appreciate the power of the natural world, and I turned to alternative options to find relief and healing.
But after nearly a year of trying alternative medicine options like osteopathy, naturopathy, acupuncture, diet changes, cleanses, and supplements, I had found little relief and I never felt like I was thriving.
Then I found homeopathy and functional medicine, a path that changed my health forever.
There were no functional medicine doctors in my area, so I decided to get the training I needed to treat myself. Through a functional medicine coaching program, a homeopathy academy, and medical Qigong, I started learning how to get my body and life back in balance.
Coaching, group support, and homeopathy were central to my training and healing. Now, I use this powerful triad to empower my clients to become aware of their whole self and rely on their body’s ability to balance and self-heal.
